MUSIC ON THE LAWN
The Beacon Community Choir's popular outdoor concert returns to Ivinghoe Lawn this summer. In honour of St Mary's 800th anniversary, this year promises to be an extra special celebration. Bring your picnics and gazebos and chill out to a variety of musical performances from the choir and local ensembles.
YVINGHO TALES
The building of St Mary the Virgin in 1220 and events leading to the dramatic fire of 1234 are reimagined by local author Dave Sivers and set to music by Judith Sheridan.
Using folk music collected from the area, Yvingho Tales reflects on the lives, hopes and fears of the villagers as their world is changed forever.
